Jeff Zimmer

I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and, following family tradition, I graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in Marketing. In 2000, I started my career in the dental industry with 3M and for the next 2 decades, I successfully ran my territory as a senior account representative. In December 2019, I decided that it was time to further my knowledge in the dental field and accepted the challenge of becoming chief operating officer for a rapidly expanding, multi-location dental group. Throughout my time as COO, I gained hands-on experience of what it takes to successfully run and grow a dental group from the ground up and everything in between. The opportunity to see the business from both the manufacturing and the management/operation side led me to Midwest Dental. After partnering with Midwest Dental at 3M and as COO, I am extremely excited to join the Special Markets Team as a key accounts manager. My wife and love of my life, Jamie, and I are blessed with two sons, Garrett and Brody, who keep us very busy on the weekends. As a family, we love movies, music, and spending time with our family and friends. A true passion of mine is coaching youth sports, and I consider myself lucky to be able to be able to do that for our sons. That brings me to a pearl of wisdom told to me by my father at a young age, "You have two ears and one mouth for a reason, so try to utilize the ratio appropriately." This little pearl has helped guide me in all aspects of my life.
