The Planmeca Emerald S intra-oral scanner combines hyper-speed and high-resolution image capture all in one light weight, easy-to-use unit. It is 2.5 times faster than its predecessor, scanning at 65 frames per second. Scanning a larger field-of-view offers a comprehensive view of the patient’s mouth. Shade Assist technology simplifies the color-matching process through improved color uniformity, removing the guesswork in matching restorations. For patients with smaller mouths, the SlimLine tip is thinner than the standard tip. Both tips are autoclavable. The Emerald S is part of the Planmeca FIT chairside CAD/CAM system.
